SciFest® 2008

SciFest® 2008 is a Festival of science and technology, and it take place on April 16.–19. 2008. SciFest® 2008 features events; including popular lectures, game drives, workshops, robotics competitions, interactive exhibitions. The target group of the festival is pupils of 11-16 years old and high school students.

The venue is Joensuu Areena, which is the biggest wood construction in Finland.

Some of the events of SciFest are carried out in internet in real time with Sasol SciFest, which is arranged at the same time in Grahamstown, South-Africa.
